Best laid plans have at least one or two backups in case of an emergency so that if the unthinkable happens the show can go on. That was the case last weekend when the crew responsible for the Urban Wildland Half Marathon and 5K had to resort to Plan B. Leading up to the race, the city had received more rain than usual and part of the course was under water. The crew leaped into action and plotted a new course so the race would not have to be canceled.
